God is SOVEREIGN. He can say what he want and do what he wants.

God maybe jealous but he is still forgiving. People now a days get jealous and is ready to fight and kill and you wonder why God says do notbe jealous.

Everybody isn't going to be able to understand the bible especially if they only read one book and judge God and the rest of the bible. You have to keep reading because in other books of the bible it explains more about whats in Genesis and in other books. (Sometimes i get confused but I ask a pastor or someone who knows the bible to clarify for me) A lot of people are confused about whats in Genesis but if you continue reading you might just find your answer.

people don't understand why God does the things he does because they only look at it with a natural eye. They don't see with a spiritually eye.

There has to be some mystery and faith in following Christ.
